The Town is requesting Tenders for Garbage and Recycling Collection Service.
PART 1: Five (5) day cycle of Garbage Collection; with a backloading garbage truck delivering all refuse to the Town of Fort Frances Landfill Site. This is for 3 years with an option for an additional 2 years.
PART 2: Five (5) day cycle of Residential Recycling Collection; will be on the same day as residential refuse collection but on a bi-weekly schedule. All recycle material will be picked up using a backloading garbage truck and taken to the recycle depot building located at the Public Works Yard at 900 Wright Avenue North. The term for Part 2 concludes on December 31, 2025 at which time the Town is no longer responsible for residential recycling collection
PART 3: The Contractor, for the term of Part 1 – including any optional years, shall supply garbage dumpsters for the Town Departments as specified in Schedule 3. Dumpsters are to be picked up with residential garbage with no landfill site tipping fees charged. |
